My Next Phase literally grew out of our own needs. It all began as a way to help us, the founders, understand how to make the most out of our next phases.
In 1999, co-founder and CEO Michael Burnham sold a family business. Uncertain of what he wanted to do next, he looked around for a book or a program to give him guidance. Finding none on his own, he sought the help of the other two founders, / organizational psychologist Eric Sundstrom, PhD, and clinical psychologist Dr. Randy Burnham (Michael’s brother).
Collectively, they found plenty of information about financial planning - but none that offered assistance in figuring out what to do with the rest of your life.
In the last 6 years, they – along with the growing My Next Phase team of professionals - have worked many thousands of hours, conducted extensive original research and interviewed hundreds of people facing retirement in order to devise a personalized process to make this transition as smooth as possible. The result is My Next Phase.
